So the Global Game Jam in Utrecht is over for a couple of hours now. And it was awesome. And this is coming from somebody who didn’t even participate. Stupid mistake I know. But hey, I was there taking pictures and filming the whole thing. So expect to see some pictures coming up on flickr and a report of the whole thing on this blog (this includes reviews of the games by the Dutchies). Can’t do it now. Cause I’m tired!!! Had seven hours of sleep since fridaymorning. AND I DIDN’T EVEN PARTICIPATE!!!!

So a couple of days ago. I was walking out in the woods, well it’s more like a little patch of land with threes. Can’t really say if it’s worthy of the title forest. But let’s just call it a forest.
Anyway..
I was out there just chillin a little bit, when all of a sudden it comes pouring down like a mother. So I need to take shelter underneath a tree, because it’s a long walk home and I really really don’t want to end up soaking wet for the better part of the trip home.
So I end up underneath this huge tree which kinda keeps me dry. And that’s when I saw them. They were… Shifting, I guess that’s what you could call it. They looked like normal persons but they were, translucent and constantly shifting from one place to the other. But not walking. More like floating. But not floating either. It’s hard to explain, let’s just keep it at that.
I actually managed to think about taking a picture. So yeah me! But when I took the last one, the women stopped and looked directly at me. My first instinct right then and there, if I have to be honest, was run and run hard despite the rain coming down. But I couldn’t. I just couldn’t. Instead of running, I just kept looking at her. And just before they both ran away, or whatever the equivalent is of running, when the way you move involves constant shifting and semi-floating. I swear that right then and there, she nodded.

After dropping my camera (this was an old Voigtländer) on the floor several times it sort of stopped taking sharp pictures. That might explain some of the dodgyness of the pics. I’ll probably upload some other stuff taken with that camera on my flickr account. So you’ll see what I mean. I’m rambling on . Here are the pics taken in the woods.
You can find them on my flickr.

First come,

First serve.

Hopefully not the last, but the first of many tidbits.

For me to keep track of what I’m doing. For you to find out what I’m doing.
